Corrosion of Conformity formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982, evolving from hardcore punk into a heavy, groove-laden Southern sludge metal sound. Fronted for their most successful era by Pepper Keenan, they scored 1990s rock-radio hits and returned in 2026 with the double album 'Good God / Baad Man.'
