Levi's Stadium is an outdoor stadium near the West Coast of the United States, located in Santa Clara, California, just west of San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has served as the home venue for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) since 2014. Located approximately forty miles (65 km) south of San Francisco, it is named after Levi Strauss & Co., which purchased naming rights in 2013. In 2006, the 49ers proposed constructing a new stadium at Candlestick Point in San Francisco, the site of Candlestick Park, their home since 1971.

Construction began soon after funding for the stadium had been confirmed. The official groundbreaking took place on April 19, 2012. On July 30, 2012, the first steel beams for the stadium were laid down. The first seats in Levi's Stadium were installed on October 1, 2013. Construction was halted on June 11, 2013, after a mechanic working on an elevator was struck by a counterweight and then fell down the shaft to his death. Work resumed two days later after officials from the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) declared the site safe, but as of October 2013, the accident remained under investigation. The Santa Clara stadium was constructed on a city-owned parking lot on Tasman Drive, located adjacent to the north of California's Great America theme park and leased to Great America for overflow parking. As with Candlestick Park, there are relatively few amenities in the stadium's immediate vicinity for sports fans, besides the 49ers headquarters and training facility. The Santa Clara Convention Center is northwest of the stadium site and there are two hotels on Tasman Drive next to the convention center, but the closest significant concentration of hotels and restaurants is on the Mission College Boulevard corridor almost a mile to the south, on the other side of Great America.

The latter replaced the Foo Fighters when the band dropped out following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Last year’s event was the first to experiment with a fourth day of programming with a part-day lineup on Thursday. That led to 145,000 attendees packing Discovery Park. This year, promoters went further with four full days and 90 acts.

Aftershock returns as Northern California’s loudest fest and the largest hard rock festival on the West Coast with four full days of music in Sacramento’s Discovery Park Oct. 6 to 9. While the bill is heavy on rock, Aftershock boasts an eclectic range of headliners in Slipknot, KISS, My Chemical Romance and Muse.

Aftershock has seen consistent growth from its 2012 inception, when Stone Temple Pilots headlined the inaugural one-day event. The event has been at Discovery Park every year, save one, when it was moved to the nearby Gibson Ranch.

This year the festival expands to three full days of performances, taking place at Discovery Park near the city’s downtown. There will be a special onsite collaboration with Metallica‘s Blackened Whiskey and Enter Night Pilsner.

Peoria Civic Center is an entertainment complex located in downtown Peoria, Illinois. Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Philip Johnson and John Burgee, it has an arena, theater, exhibit hall and meeting rooms. It opened in 1982 and completed an expansion to its lobby and meeting facilities in 2007. On the grounds of the Peoria Civic Center sits the massive Sonar Tide, the last and largest sculpture of the pioneer of abstract minimalism Ronald Bladen.

The site of the Civic Center includes the spot at Liberty Street and Jefferson Street, where Moses and Lucy Pettengill lived from 1836 to 1862; that house was part of the Underground Railroad and Moses was also an Underground Railroad "conductor". In 1862, the Pettingills moved out of downtown and to Moss Avenue, where the present Pettengill–Morron House was built in 1868. The downtown home was demolished in 1910 to make way for the Jefferson Hotel. The hotel, in turn, was imploded in 1978 to make way for the Civic Center. Peoria Civic Center opened on June 6, 1982. The first event at the Civic Center was a home and garden show in the Exhibit Hall in February 1982.

Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre (originally World Music Theatre and formerly New World Music Theatre, Tweeter Center, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre) is an outdoor music venue located in Tinley Park, Illinois, that opened in 1990 and was built by Gierczyk Development. It is one of the largest music venues in the Chicago area, with a capacity of up to 28,000 spectators: 11,000 reserved seats and 17,000 lawn seats. Nederlander Concerts and Jam Productions co-managed the venue from 1994 to 1999. Hollywood Casino acquired the naming rights, beginning in 2015. The venue is owned by Live Nation.
